Work at the intersection of OT, IT, networking, and energy storage operations.
Works closely with RMDC engineers, SCADA specialists, controls teams, and commissioning engineers.
Collaborate closely with software teams to evaluate vulnerabilities, verify updates, and guarantee secure deployment practices fleet-wide.
Maintain comprehensive SCADA and network documentation, including architecture diagrams, signal lists, communication links, and backup and recovery strategies.
Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking compliance, and reporting on the reliability of SCADA and network systems.
Adhere strictly to change-management protocols for SCADA and network configurations.
Oversee cybersecurity and patch management by administering network device updates, firmware patches, and validating the security of all deployments.
Serve as the primary escalation contact for all SCADA, communications, server, and network challenges at operational BESS locations.
Diagnose and address failures related to SCADA signals, communication breakdowns, network connectivity, cybersecurity alerts, and Linux/server service disruptions.
Coordinate and support Field Service Engineers, commissioning teams, and other engineering specialists to facilitate effective issue resolution.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting in Linux environments, focusing on services, system logs, and performance metrics to accurately isolate and document issues prior to escalation to Product teams.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues at BESS sites, working with Linux systems, Cisco switches and firewalls, and ensuring secure and reliable communications.

Good networking skills, switching, routing and basic firewall knowledge, OSI model and Prudence model
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Automation, IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.
3–5+ years in OT/SCADA/network engineering within power, utility, industrial automation, or energy systems.
Experience with SCADA systems, signal mapping, networking, and industrial protocols.
Ability to interpret network diagrams, SCADA architectures, relay/RTU configs.
Collaborator — skilled at working across sustaining, product, and field teams.
7+ yrs of relevant OT / SCADA / Networking or IT experience.
Basic knowledge in Linux based systems and commands. High-level programming languages such as Python or shell/bash scripting. Insights about Github
ISO 2700 and associated standards, NIS II and other country or regional cyber security standards
Fluence safety training.
Familiarity with Git and Github
