- Safely prepare, operate, and maintain a motor vehicle for purposes of conduction company business
- Perform periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks.
- Utilize all current technology for communication, documentation, and research.
- Work in potentially confined areas of high heat and humidity, and cold.
- Safely prepare, operate, and maintain motor vehicles for the purpose of conducting company business.
- Follow company process and procedures for verbal/written communications.
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport materials, equipment, or personnel to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Facilitate technical support and liaison with equipment manufacturers.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines (16 L), Power Solutions International (21.9 L), Generac (21.9 L) and Marathon generator ends, as well as various voltage control and synchronizing equipment under supervision of senior technicians.
- Ensure Safe Operation of electrical equipment by enforcing company and industry standards, including but not limited to LOTO and Dead Checks.
- Learn and utilize manufacturer specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems.

- Flexibility-Technicians have a rotating on call schedule. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
- Successfully pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure compliance with company standards and safe driving practices.
- Adaptable – Can adjust to different job sites, schedules, and changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- Integrity- Work efficiently and effectively when with or without supervision.
- Basic mechanical skills and engine operation knowledge (electrical experience is a plus).
