The Facility Engineer role is central to facility operations excellence. You will act as the primary point of contact for daily site operations, addressing technical issues and ensuring safe, efficient maintenance of electrical, mechanical, chemical and fire‑protection systems in line with governmental, client and internal policies.
You will drive improvement and savings programmes, including energy‑management initiatives that cut utility costs and eliminate waste. This involves close coordination with vendors, overseeing projects from inception to completion, and synchronising technical and safety audits with project timelines.
The role also includes establishing engineering service delivery standards and site‑specific processes. You will contribute to planning, implementation and review activities, and develop tools to measure technical team performance on a quarterly or annual basis.
- Manage daily site operations and resolve technical issues across electrical, mechanical, chemical, and fire‑protection systems.
- Develop and implement preventative safety programs complying with government, client, and internal policies.
- Monitor and achieve service level agreements and key performance indicators outlined in management contracts.
- Lead improvement and energy‑management initiatives to reduce utility costs and waste, coordinating with vendors.
- Create and maintain engineering service delivery standards, site processes, and performance measurement tools.

Ideal candidates are hands‑on technical experts with a university degree or professional qualification in engineering or facilities management and at least four years of facilities‑operation experience. Strong troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent spoken and written English and Chinese, are required to communicate technical matters to colleagues, clients and vendors.
