The company is seeking a Superintendent whose primary responsibility is to manage all job‑site functions for home construction while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves overseeing multiple homes from permit to closing, scheduling and supervising subcontractors, conducting homeowner walk‑throughs and inspections, and maintaining construction and safety standards.
Key duties include managing construction schedules to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery; evaluating subcontractor work for compliance with building codes and company standards; inspecting workmanship and authorizing payments only after thorough review; leading homeowner orientations and maintaining continuous communication; keeping the community and worksite clean and visually appealing; handling post‑close warranty requests and quality assurance; and collaborating with sales, warranty, and management teams for proactive issue resolution. The superintendent must act professionally, ethically, and be willing to work additional hours as needed.
Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, 2‑4 years of related experience, ability to manage the “13 Milestones of Construction,” a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of construction documents, permitting, and building codes. Candidates must have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, be able to control costs, use DRH construction applications and MS Office, and meet physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lb and working in various weather conditions.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and the ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, high‑production environment. D.R.
