- Perform minor routine machine maintenance (e.g., filters, lights, lubrication/coolant levels).
- Use shop mathematics and precision measuring or test instruments for assignments.
- Move products within manufacturing areas using shop-assigned equipment.
- Obtain required information from prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal, and electronic sources.
- Perform functional testing and ensure fit, form, and function of assemblies/components.
- Verify work aligns with work instructions, process, and engineering specifications.
- Follow drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established procedures.
- Complete work within allotted schedules.
- Utilize tooling in assembling components into sub-assemblies or end items.
- Train other assembly personnel in assembly, installation, and inspection techniques.
- Ensure equipment and tool certifications are current.
- Support continuous product flow by training and assisting employees at all classification levels.
- Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and structural/system components.
- Complete transactions necessary for moving products to the next operation.
- Identify discrepancies according to procedure.
