As a Customer Service Officer, you will ensure exceptional customer service in each interaction. Working within a friendly and inclusive team you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries. Your can-do attitude and communication skills will be fully utilised as you offer our new and existing customers solutions to their steel and aluminium requirements, including keying orders and quotations, providing product and pricing advice and managing a variety of day-to-day tasks.
- collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse, inventory and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including delivery windows, product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable

- nurture and grow relationships with customers to uncover new business and sales opportunities
- continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition
- follow-up on quotations and inquiries and working with all stakeholders to convert these into sales opportunities
- interact with our customers over the phone and email managing quotes and queries

- experience working in a customer service/sales environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- confidence to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- basic knowledge with Microsoft office and a willingness to undergo relevant training
