- As part of a multi-disciplinary team, manage technology development activities on a laboratory scale CO2 capture unit;
- Participate in multi-scale technology application testing.
- Establish process design bases for commercial scale-up;
- Conduct in-house research and development activities at process level;
- Define test plans based on the study group's orientations ;
- Participate in process design and optimization through pilot testing and validation of results through simulations;
- Support scale-up activities with process engineers or external consultants;
- Write reports and other required documents.
- Participate in procurement, assembly, instrumentation, commissioning and test start-up on the laboratory scale CO2 capture unit;

- Experience 0- 5 years;
- Experience in multi-phase reactor design and/or catalysis and/or kinetics;
- Strong ability to collaborate and work in a multidisciplinary environment;
- Demonstrated skills in experimental planning, execution and analysis, and ability to write reports, interpret and present results;
- Demonstrated experience in project management / interactions with suppliers and internal customers;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or eligible for membership;
- Training and/or demonstrated experience in process simulation. Mastery of the fundamentals of a reaction kinetics-based simulator;
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate mass and energy balances in complex systems;
- Degree in chemical engineering, M.Sc.A. an asset;
