You will oversee the assessment and monitoring of Technical Assurance Organisations, conduct investigations and performance assessments, and deliver timely resolutions to technical issues to ensure safe, reliable and sustainable outcomes.
You will also measure TAO performance, provide advice on standards and specifications for the cost‑effective management of electrical assets, and contribute to national and cross‑modal technical harmonisation initiatives, representing TfNSW in relevant forums under the direction of the Chief Engineer. This is a permanent ongoing role.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent) and have experience with overhead wiring systems in a rail environment, including design, maintenance, construction, HV aerial lines and underground cable systems.
