Product Owners are responsible for leading the delivery of the technology and associated business change here at Ecotricity.
I have vacancy for a product owner to pair up with one of delivery teams and support the optimisation of one our platforms.
As a valued member of the team, you will be supporting the Group Environmental Policy and its associated sustainability objectives and targets.
- Managing stakeholders through steering, agile ceremonies, stand-ups and workshops
- Stakeholder management and facilitation of decisions of all sizes
- Managing the build and continuous delivery of awesome software experiences that improve performance of our platforms
- Development of User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and Epics
- Development of User Stories
- Run requirement gathering workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous monitoring of product-related technical debt, working alongside the developers to ensure that sprints have an appropriate mix of new functionality, fixes and on demands changes
- Management of Product Backlog
- Management of Product Backlog and prioritising requirements based on the business goals
- Sprint planning and tracking

- Recent experience in the Energy industry
- Senior presentation skills (c-suite)
- Experience of working with both front-end and backend tech teams to deliver projects
- Digital product owner experience
- Strong Jira experience including story pointing and velocity tracking
- Strong business case and cost benefit analysis skills
- Digital agency experience
- strong user story writing experience using, gherkin/cucumber format and providing acceptance criteria
- Experience & confidence in public speaking
- Knowledge of sustainability issues and a passion to fix them using technology
- Demonstrable experience of having delivered brilliant digital products and services
- Proven personal development, self-management and a desire to be brilliant
- Clear and concise relaying of ideas and concepts
- Agile project estimation using story pointing and velocity reporting

- First-rate written and verbal communication
- Atlassian Suite (Confluence, JIRA, Product Discovery)
