We have an excellent opportunity for a Distribution Center Manager at our Richmond location. This position will manage all operational activities and associated costs of the assigned Distribution Center, while maintaining a focus on both increasing revenues and providing superior customer service.
The role directly supervises the entire Distribution Center staff through various levels of supervisors and support personnel. It also ensures that employees operate in accordance with company safety policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Supply Chain (preferred) or at least five years of warehousing and distribution experience. They must also possess a minimum of five years in building products sales or distribution, be able to frequently bend, stretch, and lift up to 25 lb, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with Oracle is a plus, and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
