Parts Assistant

Description

The role is based at our rental facility in Mandan, ND, working Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑5 pm with overtime after 40 hours and occasional on‑call weekends. The Parts Assistant maintains branch parts inventory and assists customers as needed.

• Manage and supervise parts inventory, purchasing, and invoicing
• Process daily parts orders, including shipping and receiving
• Obtain and prepare parts quotes
• Order and maintain inventory for rental equipment
• Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for company and customer-owned equipment
• Verify invoice accuracy
• Liaise with service departments and schedule deliveries
• Ensure parts warehouse cleanliness and organization

• Experience in construction or heavy‑equipment industry preferred
• Budgeting experience and proficiency with Excel/spreadsheets
• Clean driving record for local parts pickup and delivery
• Strong customer service, organization, time‑management, and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate forklift/telehandler for loading/unloading freight trucks
• Ability to lift 75–100 lb
