Description

The Sales and Design Consultant is central to the California Closets design brand experience, responsible for listening to customer needs, collaborating on every detail, and providing highly personalized, whole‑home design solutions and exceptional service. Supported by extensive training, the role requires passion for design, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in measuring, designing, selling, and delivering custom solutions. This is a full‑time position (40+ hours per week).

• Commute to customers’ homes and design custom storage solutions using proprietary CAD software.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by pursuing referrals and repeat business.
• Follow up continuously with customers and collaborate with the installation team to ensure job completion.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and clients of varying complexity in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Interior design education, direct industry experience, and/or in‑home sales experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and proficiency with laptops, tablets, and other devices required.
• Experience with Salesforce, CAD, or design software preferred.
• Demonstrate creativity while being meticulous and detail‑oriented with a sense of craftsmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
