The role involves working on professional construction sites, communicating verbally and over the phone, reading signs and directions, and performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, bending, and operating equipment up to 50 lb. Employees must work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adhere to safety guidelines while handling potential hazards like chemicals, dust, noise, and moving machinery.
Candidates should possess a positive attitude, at least five years of finish blade operation in mass earthwork, and preferably GPS experience. Experience in grading and preparing pavement areas, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and passing drug screenings are required. Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and capacity to lift at least 50 lb are essential personal skills.
