Project Management Engineering

Description

The role oversees the integration of engineering work across all disciplines for assigned projects, ensuring that execution aligns with contract specifications, quality, safety and integrity standards.

• Coordinate engineering disciplines to meet contract, quality, safety, and integrity requirements.
• Develop and manage engineering and construction budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Allocate personnel and equipment resources for project execution.
• Partner with System, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Engineering teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Support Tender and Project Managers throughout project and tender processes.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate engineering risks and opportunities.
• Interact with customers, contractors, and suppliers; present technical aspects in meetings.
• Share best practices and standard processes across projects and disciplines.
• Review overall engineering costs and obtain approval from Business Unit Head.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including IEEE, IEC, and GIGRE standards.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology field.
• Possess 8–10 years of experience in Systems, Primary, or Secondary Engineering, preferably on medium to high voltage substation projects.
• Demonstrate knowledge of power‑system equipment such as transformers, capacitors, reactors, instrument transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and surge arrestors.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
