The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for electrical and mechanical assemblies in the manufacture of pump stations and other systems. They interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings, assist with process improvements such as sand blasting and powder coating, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The assembler works both independently and within a manufacturing team to build sub‑assemblies and enclosures, procure supplies, load PLC and touchscreen software, and lead quality inspection for other assemblers. They identify process improvements, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, support sandblasting and powder‑coating operations, and coordinate daily with production, engineering, and purchasing.
The role requires basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, ability to read schematics and blueprints, and proficiency with hand and power tools as well as measurement equipment. Strong verbal and written communication, computer literacy in Windows, Excel, and Word, and the ability to multitask and think creatively are essential. A high school diploma or GED is required.
