Marketing Communications Specialist

Description

• Stay current with digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
• Manage website updates, CMS operations, web strategy, optimizations, and future enhancements
• Leverage metrics and insights to guide decision-making and optimize campaigns
• Coordinate with photographers and technical staff to capture projects that best tell DAHLIN’s story through imagery
• Partner with staff to plan and deliver engaging content for the DAHLIN intranet
• Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and external partners to drive the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital marketing efforts
• Contribute to thought leadership efforts by developing content and collateral for both internal and external use
• Develop and execute social media strategy, including content creation and asset management
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and content contributors across the organization, serving as a trusted marketing resource
• Design and create digital strategies, multimedia assets, and dynamic content
• Establish, monitor, and report on metrics and KPIs to evaluate online performance
• Partner with the external PR team on media-related initiatives, including interviews and events, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Support the firm’s annual awards submission process by preparing relevant content and digital assets
• Manage all aspects of digital marketing, including strategy development, editorial calendar, campaign execution, analytics, and reporting across SEO, social media, web, and email channels
• Assess business and audience needs to determine the most effective mix of media and communication channels
• Partner with the Marketing Team to ensure brand consistency and a unified voice across all digital channels

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with strong organizational and collaborative abilities
• Membership in SMPS and CPSM certification preferred
• A keen design sensibility and attention to detail
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry
• Familiarity with website CMS platforms, web analytics, and digital asset management (DAM) systems such as OpenAsset
• Understanding of proposal development and client-focused content creation
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Experience managing social media channels, analytics, and reporting
• Demonstrated experience supporting multiple leaders in a creative or professional services environment
• Excellent listening skills, follow-through, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• A confident, adaptable, and dynamic personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows OS) and internet tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field
