Demonstrated experience with DoD as an 1102 series Contract Specialist, preferably in OSD, is required.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance, and 7+ years of relevant professional experience in acquisition.
Possess extensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and agency supplements as required.
4 years of specialized experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirement.
Professional DAWIA Contracting Certification or Advanced DAWIA Financial Management Certification required. Professional Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) is an acceptable alternative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, to include PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
