Liaising with utility providers if necessary to review utility prints provided
Respond to telephone and email enquiries
Ensure that all updated information is logged on Kelly’s Database and force.
Ensuring that that data is correctly logged on the database
Communicate with civils and cabling personnel in order to obtain further information required for the job pack.
Review the job pack in detail to find any discrepancies or missing information, this includes Traffic Management, Civils or Cabling data.
Liaise with staff in other departments as and when required.
Assessing permit applications from operations staff to ensure all works are compliant with legislation and appropriate permit scheme conditions.
Submission of all appropriate Street Works Notices and Permits on all notice/permit systems.
Liaising with operations staff and Local Authorities to facilitate applications for road closures, portable traffic signals or other supporting criteria required for successful permit applications.
Jeopardy Management of Field Activities and admin activities
Adhering to in house and external procedures relating to utility requests
Receive packs from force Kelly Database
Obtaining Utility prints from utility providers
Ensure all correspondence with site is emailed over.
Liaise with our clients to request additional costings for works.
Filling out Civils templates for noticing team to schedule works.
Managing requests for early starts/extensions/amendments required for notices/permits.
Maintenance of Utility prints, renewing in a timely manner to support field in meeting business and contract deadlines
Receiving and recording timely starts, stops, and register activities to avoid financial penalty.
Validation of Utility prints, adhering to Health and Safety procedures such as HSG47
Communicating notice status to field
Analysis proposed works, to decide if and what traffic management is required.
Communicating Stats status to field and planning team to ensure accurate and timely delivery
Check Roadworks website and specialised streetworks software for any noticing issues that may arise.
Workload management, including chasing externally for delayed Utility prints
Escalate customer complaints to the Validation Manager
