Computer Aided Design Technician

• Communicate effectively with homeowners and business owners, using de-escalation tactics
• Perform field notations using various methods
• Perform electronic locates to measure utility depths
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
• Document and photograph existing site conditions
• Represent the company during preconstruction meetings
• Coordinate with project teams to assist in problem resolution
• Read and interpret engineering plans, maps, and utility drawings
• Conduct constructability reviews of preliminary design drawings

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in utility locating equipment, AutoCAD, GIS platforms, and Google Earth
• Must be local to project work and available during normal business hours.
• In addition to a valid State Driver’s License, applicants must have a safe driving record as defined
• Understand rights-of-way, easements, parcels, and private property rights
• 2+ years of prior, relevant field or office work experience.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in remote environments
