The position is a field‑based consultancy role that requires strong technical knowledge, professional judgement, and the ability to work independently with a varied client base across Central and Greater London and occasional other locations. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, be willing to work alone—including remote work—and will undergo an enhanced DBS check arranged by Karntek.
- Hold a relevant qualification in Fire Safety, Health & Safety, or related discipline (Level 3/4 fire risk assessment required).
- Proven experience conducting fire risk and/or health & safety assessments.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional presentation of findings.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate in a field‑based consultancy role.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- NEBOSH or other Health & Safety qualification (advantageous).
- Registration with IFSM, IFPO or IFE (advantageous).
- Accreditation under the BAFE SP205 scheme.
