Strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail
Design / CAD skills are essential as well as the ability to read, review and mine all types of drawing information for key metrics are required.
Practical hands on experience of profiling a business and developing a workplace strategy aligned to business need
Graphic Design (technical and non-technical skills)
Workplace guidelines development, planning and design experience / knowledge base
Strong commercial acumen and business development experience (for higher grade positions)
Ability to multi-task on concurrent projects, under tight time frames
An appreciation of change management principles is valuable
Understanding and knowledge of building regulations and occupational standards
People management (for higher grade positions)
Strong understanding of current best practices and trends in the workplace and other architecture and design fields
Can evidence knowledge of or experience in qualitative and quantities research methods, agile/flexible/activity based working concept design, space budgeting, test-fit creation/oversight, workplace concept/guideline development, and the use of technology as an enabler
Comfortable in translating large data sets into compelling findings
Clear understanding of best practice and regulatory requirements around building occupancy.
Ability to present and articulate ideas and analyses
Softer skills relating to gaining business buy in/stakeholder management, relationship building, confident to lead client conversations, sell the workplace proposition and deal with resistance around the proposed change
Experience in scoping, pricing, pitching, wining and delivering projects (for higher grade positions)
