The role joins the global New Product Introduction (NPI) R&D team and is responsible for CAD and documentation development of blade manufacturing processes, including prototyping, zero-series, and international production rollout.
Key tasks include preparing and reviewing specifications, creating 3D and 2D models of structural and process materials and associated BOMs, developing decision matrices for new product and process designs, preparing test documentation, conducting physical trials, and producing test reports.
The position requires regular alignment with internal stakeholders such as Blade engineering, QA, Tooling, R&D and NPI to manage changes and supervise production and development processes, as well as coordination with external partners during rollout projects.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Production, Composites or Aeronautics) and possess strong technical skills, including MS Office, Teamcenter, AutoCAD 2D, and preferably CATIA or Siemens NX, along with the ability to read blueprints and strong pedagogical, team-management and conflict-resolution abilities.
The experience profile calls for at least one year of hands-on work in boat building or composite structure manufacturing (hand lay-up, VART, RIM, epoxy or polyester) and a minimum of five years as a composite engineer across up to two companies, with at least three years focused on new product development and international rollouts.
Fluent English (C2) is mandatory, while Spanish (B2) and German (B2) are optional. Nordex is an equal-opportunity employer.
