Lead engineering for power and utility integration of data center projects.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors, fostering strong working relationships to achieve project objectives. Coordinate with stakeholders to address any engineering challenges that arise.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all engineering work complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain high standards of quality and safety across all projects.
Utility Coordination: Work with contracted companies to facilitate the installation and integration of essential power utilities, including solar energy systems, natural gas supply, and power infrastructure. Ensure that all utilities are delivered on time and within budget.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure project goals are met.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team and other departments. Stay updated with the latest engineering practices and technologies in renewable energy.
Engineering: Oversee all engineering activities related to acquiring and delivering power for data center developments. Ensure that the land is suitable for the intended projects and meets all regulatory requirements.

Experience with data center infrastructure and utility requirements.
Strong knowledge of energy systems, particularly utility grids, natural gas, solar/BESS systems.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Proven experience in energy development and utility coordination for large-scale capital projects.
Experience working directly with electric utilities and co-ops across the country
Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( Electrical or related field). Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) is preferred.
