Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
Proficiency in visual inspection and NDT methods
Technical degree in welding or related field
Physical ability to work in various environments and lift 50 pounds
Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW)
Experience in manufacturing or petrochemical environments
Familiarity with welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, API 1104)
Minimum 5 years of welding inspection experience in industrial facilities
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Supervisory or training experience
