Executive - Transport

Description

• Address and resolve transport-related user complaints.
• Coordinate with third-party transport vendors or internal drivers.
• Track fuel usage and mileage.
• Analyze transport data and prepare periodic reports.
• Optimize route planning to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to legal transport regulations.
• Handle grievances or issues with vendors and drivers.
• Coordinate maintenance and servicing schedules.
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws and company policies.
• Assign and monitor driver schedules and shifts.
• Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
• Plan and coordinate daily transport operations.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years’ experience in transportation
• Good knowledge of route planning, vendor management, and fleet coordination.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/transport management software for MIS & reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Use GPS or transport management systems (TMS), if available to track vehicle movement.
• Knowledge of local geography and traffic regulations.
• Ability to handle escalations and ensure timely resolutions.
• Understanding of transport compliance, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
