  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to fiber optic splicing, cable continuity, and signal loss, and develop effective solutions.
  • Perform site surveys and develop splicing plans, taking into consideration environmental factors and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the installation and termination of fiber optic cables, ensuring proper techniques and industry standards are followed.

  • 2 years' experience managing a team of splicers
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve fiber optic cable issues.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to lift 0-25 pounds.
  • Must have visual acuity.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and protocols for working with fiber optic cables.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • 5 years' experience in fiber optic splicing in the telecommunications industry.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of splicers.
