Role

Adhere to the company’s Safety, Quality Management and Equipment Maintenance policies
Must operate equipment, maintain safe work environment, protect and maintain the equipment and vehicles, accurately and efficiently collect field data and locate features
Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points
Set wooden stakes and iron rods, cut and clear brush, trees, etc.
Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff
Responsible for assisting the Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew
Record accurate and clear surveying notes

Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
Requires a lot of walking outside year-round through all kinds of terrain and in extreme heat and cold
Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk long distances
Ability to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural or urban surroundings
