  • Periodically update and maintain security logs and access lists for completeness and accuracy
  • Review and verify individual credentials against authorized access lists
  • Maintain accurate logs documenting the activities of personnel within restricted areas
  • Perform security-related tasks such as visual inspections of parcels and monitoring lobby areas
  • Prepare and submit detailed incident reports for any security breaches or irregular activities observed
  • Ensure that all security procedures are followed correctly and that restricted areas are secure at all times
  • Assist with the enforcement of policies related to portable electronic devices within restricted areas
  • Operate security systems, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), closed-circuit television (CCTV), and access control systems
  • Conduct regular inspections and security checks as part of Random Access Measures to ensure compliance with security policies
  • Provide timely updates and reports to the Government Test Representative (GTR) regarding access control activities
  • Report any suspicious activities or potential security threats immediately to the appropriate authorities
  • Interface with security personnel, Technical Inspectors, and other relevant authorities to handle security concerns
  • Authorize entry to restricted areas only for those with proper clearances and permissions
  • Monitor and control physical entry points to ensure only authorized personnel gain access
  • Adhere strictly to Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Army, and WSMR security policies and regulations
  • Log all security incidents, access activities, and personnel movements in and out of restricted areas

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and over 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a security or access control role preferred
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Proficiency in operating security systems, including IDS and CCTV
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining logs and generating reports
