Property Manager

Description

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking our next Property Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our multifamily apartment property in Canal Winchester, OH. In this role, you'll inspire leadership, foster group responsibility, and lead with a servant leadership mindset to manage our apartment community in central Ohio.

• Consistently use successful techniques to secure efficiency of staff through ongoing daily and weekly staff meetings, training, instruction, counseling and leadership.
• Emergency/Safety team lead for community with staff and residents to minimize liabilities.
• Financial responsibilities including financial goals, collections, maintaining & submitting records of transactions, prepare annual budgets, income projections accurately and timely, ensure late fees & check charges are collected, AP invoice submission to corporate and petty cash.
• Administrative functions are not limited to maintaining accuracy of resident files, leasing documents together with Yardi entry confirmation and payroll hours approval.
• Monitor and analyze traffic logs, conversion ratios, budget and renewal information.
• Leasing responsibilities including ensuring site is at fullest capacity, marketing strategies, confirm leasing strategies are effective for closing and models, market ready apartments and grounds are walked and acceptable.
• Maintenance scheduling as needed with Maintenance team.

Requirements

• Competence in PC skills (Word, Outlook, Excel and Yardi preferred).
• High School degreed or GED required
• 2+ years prior experience in a Multifamily Property Manager position preferred
• Resident retention relations including phone or in person visits dealing with concerns, requests, follow up, functions, newsletters and notices.
• Vendor and contractor communications (scheduling, billing, relations and certificates of insurance).
• Additional Leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) / Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to administer action plans, provide support and encouragement to staff, lead by example and ensure personnel processes are handled timely (evaluations, salary reviews, time sheets, etc.).
• US work authorization (Required)
• Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
• 3+ years prior experience in a Leasing or Assistant Property Manager position required
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

• Starting base salary: $62,000
