Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency.
Provide direction, training, and support to glass cutting team members.
Build strong relationships – value our employees, suppliers, and advisors as an essential part of our business. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, contractors and stakeholders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area and ensure proper equipment upkeep.
Verify that all cut glass is correctly labeled and transferred to carts for subsequent processing.
Perform both automated and manual glass cutting, including pattern and specialty cuts.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Cut and prepare glass accurately according to drawings, templates, and specifications.
Monitor quality and accuracy of cuts; perform checks and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Oversee and assist in loading and unloading glass sheets from the free-fall rack onto the cutting table.
Get it done – find solutions to ensure the job gets done right
Lead the glass cutting operations and ensure daily production schedules are met.

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and work safely with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience leading or mentoring team members is an asset.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in glass cutting within a plant or manufacturing environment.
Competent in using manual cutting tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, labels, and diagrams.
Good understanding of the English language (spoken and written).
Strong knowledge of both manual and automated glass cutting processes.
Proficient with glass-cutting software (e.g., A&W) and computer-based systems.
Skilled in cutting 10mm and 12mm glass manually, including pattern glass.
