Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario, or eligible to be within one year.
Experience leading/mentoring colleagues.
Working knowledge of/experience using nuclear Codes and Standards, including ASME BPVC Section III, ASME B31.1, CSA B51, CSA N285.0, CSA N286, and CSA N299.
Experience performing work to nuclear grade procedures and practices.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
This position could include some travel to various locations in China and Canada or other countries where manufacturing activities occur.
Site experience in construction, or commissioning of mechanical equipment or systems for nuclear or other heavy industries.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design/analysis, preferably providing design solutions for CANDU nuclear reactor retube waste handling equipment.
Familiarity with nuclear power plant applicable codes and standards.
Experience performing mechanical design analysis and calculations for heavy mechanical equipment (any relevant industry).
Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited University in Mechanical/Materials/Nuclear Engineering or Engineering Science.
Familiarity with CANDU Reactor Technology.
Experience producing engineering drawings for heavy mechanical equipment (any relevant industry).
