Manage each case as a project-define scope, gather evidence, interview stakeholders, and deliver reports using tools like BowTie, TapRooT, and Five Whys.
Update investigation procedures in line with IMO, OCIMF, and industry standards.
Collaborate with Technical, Vetting, and L&D teams to embed lessons into training and operational practices.
Lead investigations into major incidents, breakdowns, and near misses.
Act as the key liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze trends and recurring issues to proactively mitigate risks.
Support digital mapping of technical competencies and human factors.
Work with L&D to integrate incident learnings into technical training.
Develop and deliver training content and workshops.

Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
Class 1 COC (Chief Engineer) with tanker experience (1 year as Chief or 2 years as Second Engineer).
Proficient in MS Office; fluent in English.
Willingness to travel and manage a 24/7 on-call lifestyle.
At least 1 year in a shore-based technical role or 3+ years in a similar tanker company role.
