Supervise site surveys and field investigations
Work as part of a team being involved in a variety of projects including model build and verification, using existing or new models to understand system performance and using the model to help the design of system improvements and enhancements to urban drainage networks.
Plan, programme, coordinate and write reports for specific projects.

Undertake the development of modelled engineering solutions to mitigate the effects of development, to solve sewer flooding and to address unsatisfactory overflows
Act independently on technical matters related to engineering designs and regulatory compliance
Provide guidance and training to less experienced members within the team
Assist with the preparation of cost estimates for modelling, project design and construction
Design of stormwater and wastewater networks including various assets of the networks like Pump Stations, Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO), Storage tanks, Attenuation Tanks/Ponds, Flow Control Structures and Sustainable Drainage Solutions
Use appropriate software to provide advice, solutions and successful project outcomes for clients

Possess experience of multidisciplinary engineering and work under minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and be able to multitask
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Experience in the management of staff and staff development
A Chartered Member of a relevant engineering institution e.g. ICE or CIWEM would be preferred
Possess experience of thirdparty management, Health and Safety and Sustainability aspects of a design project
A full understanding of InfoWorksCS, ICM and awareness/working knowledge of other tools in the market
Degree qualified in Civil/ Environmental Engineering
Working knowledge of using GIS tools is preferable – MapInfo, ArcGIS
12 – 20 years of experience in wastewater industry and previous experience in the modelling of urban drainage networks

Technical expertise in sewer hydraulic modelling (InfoWorks – ICM, 1D, 2D modelling) and in design of stormwater and wastewater networks.
Competent skill level in business development
