The Role

Overview

Assist daily management of commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and cost.

Tasks

-Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders -Complete and oversee maintenance of all daily work documentation and other paperwork required, submitting all as required on a timely basis -Ensure adherence to the schedule, expediting subcontractors and suppliers as required -Develop schedules and coordinate trades -Bring solutions, not just problems—proactive interaction with architect/engineer/PM; “We” have a problem, let’s solve it together -Assist in the day-to-day management of overall commercial construction project operations, people, and processes -Create a safe work environment by ensuring full compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA regulations and Ironmark's Safety Program -Supervise on-site construction activities in conjunction with the project Superintendent -Apply vigilant cost containment, quality control, and risk management skills to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of assigned projects

What You Bring

-Proficient with Microsoft Office applications as well as use of Smart Phones and Tablets including taking and sending photographs, voice memos, accessing cloud-based document storage, communicating via email, adding and managing attachments -Possess a sharp, continuous improvement mind and inner drive to succeed -Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred -Ability to read and understand blueprints -Effective at focusing under pressure, smoothly managing tasks, change, and priorities -Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record along with reliable access to a vehicle -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision -Ability to understand local building codes/regulations to ensure compliance. Knowledge of federal, state and local safety laws and regulations. OSHA 30 certified (preferred) -Strong communication skills with a demonstrated background of working effectively with a wide range of workers in a diverse community -Ability to work on-site at our project location in the Tucson area
