You will be responsible for collaborating with junior team members, with support from more senior Flooding and Hydrology experts.
Work within a defined area of responsibility on projects with flooding elements. This may include being responsible for specific parts of a design package within a project.
Ensure that the delivery of flood modelling tasks, including meeting budget, time-frame and quality targets, exceeds client expectations.
Check the quality and accuracy of own and others' work.
Your work will encompass the development of hydrological and hydraulic models (flood modelling) and authoring reports or other documentation.

Professional experience with TUFLOW (1D, 2D, combined 1D/2D) is an essential criterion.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience in GIS software such as MapInfo, QGIS and/or ArcGIS.
6-8 years post-graduate experience, most likely in consulting engineering or a similar local/state government role, with exposure to medium-large multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
Hydrologic analysis experience (e.g., RORB, RAFTS, URBS etc.)
Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines (DTMR, Austroads, QR, Local Governments).
Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership will be highly regarded.
Drainage design experience would also be highly regarded.
Experience with ARR2019 guidelines.
Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant skills.
