As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will manage the delivery of cost management services for infrastructure framework projects. You will leverage your technical knowledge and experience to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, in line with established controls and standards. In this role you will coach and mentor junior team members, collaborate with external stakeholders, and provide expert advice on risk management and compliance processes.
The role requires you to work within established financial systems to produce reports, forecasts, and budget tracking, while overseeing costing and variance management. You will deliver infrastructure framework projects on time and within budget, advise on risk and compliance, present risks to senior managers, analyse data to inform cost decisions, improve processes using industry best practices, collaborate across teams, and manage client and stakeholder relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, a professional qualification or chartered status, and a CSCS card are required. Candidates should have proven experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, building strong client relationships, managing business relationships at middle‑management level, and delivering infrastructure framework projects from inception to completion.
