Accounts Receivable Clerk (Collections)

In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing customer payments, reconciling accounts, and managing collections with professionalism and accuracy. The ideal candidate takes a “white-glove” approach to collections—balancing persistence with diplomacy—and values teamwork, feedback, and continuous improvement.

• Investigate discrepancies and perform adjusting entries as needed.
• Conduct daily reviews of assigned delinquent accounts and follow up promptly.
• Support the setup and maintenance of customer accounts.
• Provide detailed analysis of overdue accounts and recommend escalation when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
• Process credit card payments and handle bilingual (French and English) customer inquiries.
• Manage customer communications with a “white-glove” approach—professional, courteous, and solution-driven.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes, obtain supporting documentation, and ensure timely payments.
• Process incoming payments (bank lockbox, EFT, deposits, etc.) and ensure timely posting and reconciliation.
• Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate records of all payment activity.

This position requires full bilingual fluency in French and English—both spoken and written—to effectively support our customers and internal partners across Canada.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• 2–5 years of related experience in accounts receivable or finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP experience an asset.
• Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) — essential for this role.
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate clearly and professionally.
• High school diploma required, college or accounting coursework an asset.
