Working within the Design & Engineering teams, you will create iconic infrastructure that transforms journeys and public spaces, delivering ground‑breaking solutions that connect people and places.
- Lead civil, utilities, and transportation infrastructure projects (e.g., environmental assessments, preliminary designs, corridor studies)
- Serve as infrastructure engineering task lead on large‑scale projects
- Review design drawings and support report and proposal writing
- Manage staff productivity and utilization
- Mentor and supervise project teams
- Drive business development in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA)
- Coordinate design disciplines, schedule, and budget
- Act as primary client liaison
- Contribute to managing the Infrastructure Group in Toronto West office

Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager, Civil and Utilities Engineering for its Toronto West office to lead road and transit projects in Ontario, leveraging experience in environmental assessments, preliminary and detailed design, transportation planning, traffic management, and traffic engineering.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (accredited)
- Minimum 8 years project management and 8 years transportation engineering experience
- Skilled in roadway preliminary and detailed design
- Eligible for P.Eng. membership (preferred)
- Experience with Metrolinx, MTO, Peel, York, Halton regions (asset)
- Proficient in municipal infrastructure design, including arterial roads and highways
- Familiar with AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, Civil3D (asset)
- Understand traffic engineering principles
- Knowledge of GTHA market conditions and client base
- Experience with construction inspection and reporting
- Ability to work independently and lead teams
- Strong technical verbal and written communication
- Excellent analytical and decision‑making abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

The salary range for this position is $78,000 – $117,000, with actual compensation based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
