Develop and execute comprehensive technical training programs while leading process improvement initiatives. Bridge operational excellence and workforce development by designing training solutions that elevate safety, quality, and productivity while implementing lean methodologies to optimize performance across all locations.
- Lead efforts to reduce variability, increase process efficiency, and achieve cost savings.
- Collaborate with Safety teams to ensure training addresses company safety standards.
- Provide technical support through root cause analysis and process-related problem solving.
- Travel to locations on an as-needed basis.
- Partner with Operations leadership to develop/enhance SOPs and technical work instructions.
- Design and facilitate technical training programs for new hires and existing employees across multiple locations.
- Investigate and report on production issues, customer feedback, and process deviations.
- Leverage Six Sigma methodology and lean tools for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars adapted to diverse learning styles.
- Develop Key Performance Metrics to measure and improve operational efficiency.
- Establish training guidelines, standards, and comprehensive training matrices.

We're seeking a Technical Trainer to develop our workforce and drive operational excellence. This role combines technical training leadership with process improvement expertise.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO 9001 experience
- 8-10 years of experience in construction environment (subcontracting preferred)
- OSHA Training Institute certification or recognized safety training credentials
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and time management abilities
- Proven knowledge of construction/specialty trade subcontracting products and scopes
- 3-5 years of teaching, training, or coaching experience
- Bachelor's degree in training and development or equivalent certification
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control concepts
