Description

• Maintain and update a database of cost estimates and pricing information.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Review project specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Assist the sales team in preparing proposals and bid packages.
• Monitor and report on the status of ongoing estimates and proposals.
• Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and address any questions.
• Participate in project handover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Basic understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating or a related role.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
