Validate the accuracy of earned value management system reporting.
Validate field audits to verify accuracy of reporting and processes.
Provide recommendation on schedule work arounds and mitigation efforts to the team.
Interface with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to review project costs and contingency costs and support external audits.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Lead the review of upstream (prime contract) / downstream (purchase orders & subcontract) change orders.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential clients, customers, and contractors to develop additional business.
Responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.
Lead the development and implementation of project execution plans.
Support the recruitment, development, training, retention and evaluating performance of the project controls team.
Validate the accuracy of cost management and forecast reporting.
Serve as a point of contact for technical questions from the project team.
Lead the Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM).
Validate quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
Analyze and validate cash flow reports.
Lead the review of material takeoffs.
Lead the presentation of Project Controls reporting.
Lead the development, implementation, and management of a reporting data warehouse to produce valuable program controls reports and data for multiple large projects.
Lead Project Forensic Analysis.
Analyze and validate progress curves.
Lead and direct schedule management involving critical path method scheduling techniques, estimating, project cost management, forecasting and document control for multiple projects.
Oversee the risk management process by identifying and mitigating risk potentials to the project.
Lead the development of effective scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flow reports and forecasts for multiple projects.

Prior experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating and document control required.
Extensive Accounting knowledge preferred.
Excellent attention to detail.
Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Earned Value Management system preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience with Construction Self-Perform projects.
Ability to facilitate and produce detailed construction schedules and interface those construction schedules with engineering and procurement activities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, and 7 years direct project controls experience required.
Experience in negotiation of heavy industrial project prime agreements and construction contract/subcontract agreements.
