Working with ETS tool administrators and developers to facilitate required tool configurations and customizations as per project requirements.
Influencing project execution strategy to take advantage of the preferred engineering systems and software tools.
Providing training and supporting project teams on Kiewit’s standard and in-house developed tools, while tracking issues and recording progress via tickets.
Interfacing directly with software vendors to escalate issues (bugs) and request new functionality to support Kiewit’s standard workflows, which needs a strong technical understanding of the software applications.
Identification of engineering systems training requirements and coordinating delivery of same.
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
Overseeing engineering systems setup and maintenance, including customizations implemented mid-project, and reporting progress against these requirements.
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Developing and maintaining project-specific engineering systems work practice documentation.
