  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of System Administrators, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and support of enterprise infrastructure, including:
  • Partner with IT leadership to shape and execute the infrastructure roadmap, including cloud adoption, automation, and modernization initiatives.
  • Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics for infrastructure services.
  • Support the professional growth of System Administrators through training, mentoring, and career development.
  • Collaborate with application, security, and service desk teams to ensure cohesive and secure system integration.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure systems.
  • Implement career development plans and succession strategies to build a resilient and future-ready infrastructure team.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards related to infrastructure and architecture.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for infrastructure-related services and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and security frameworks across domestic and international operations.
  • Promote cross-training and knowledge sharing to build team resilience and redundancy.
  • Ensure infrastructure systems align with enterprise cybersecurity policies and support audit readiness.
  • Define and evolve enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps aligned with business and IT strategy.
  • Manage licensing and forecasting for cloud and infrastructure platforms to ensure compliance, cost efficiency, renewal planning, and alignment with strategic plans.
  • Drive observability and alerting strategy to proactively identify and resolve system performance issues.
  • Provide architectural oversight for infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security policies.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency and business agility.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Ensure clear ownership, documentation, and accountability for core systems.
  • Lead capacity planning efforts to support scalable growth and avoid performance bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to IT budget planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.

  • Experience in the AEC or professional services industry.
  • Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra AD, SCCM, Intune, M365)
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft enterprise technologies, virtualization, networking, and storage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams

  • 15+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.

  • Networking (firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN, VLANs)
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, VMware, ITIL).
  • Proven experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
