The position provides support to the organization’s privacy and compliance program, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal requirements. It works with program leadership to improve operations, set priorities, address staff needs, and resolve cross‑departmental challenges, including responding to urgent situations and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key duties include maintaining consistent program materials, processes, and documentation; identifying, reviewing, and managing privacy‑related documentation; supporting migration and modernization of program records; and developing training, communication materials, and business proposals. The role also contributes to communications, maintains content on knowledge‑sharing platforms, collaborates with IT and security partners on tools and repositories, and creates guidance, templates, and tools for staff.
The employee collects and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data to produce clear reports for leadership, prepares project updates, presentations, and summary reports, and leads multi‑stakeholder projects from planning through dashboards and UAT. They also conduct community trainings, develop SOPs, and support office hours for process questions.
The role is within the Regulatory Compliance & Security family and does not require travel. No clearance is required, though candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least one year of professional experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, records management, compliance, or privacy programs. Technical proficiency with Microsoft 365, work‑management platforms, process improvement, change management, and MS Office tools is required, and the role must be based in the DC metro area with ability to commute to Bethesda, MD.
Preferred qualifications include one year of specialized experience in the Federal sector, especially HHS, prior consulting experience, creative problem‑solving, and the ability to develop strong team and client relationships.
The salary range for this position is $65,000–$108,000, with compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, clearances, and certifications.
