Prepare and maintain detailed execution job plans, packages, and libraries that include all required tools, labor, materials, and external services.
Identify safety considerations and develop safe work procedures for each job.
Determine all parts, tools, resources, special equipment, and sequencing aligned with asset care and corrective repair requirements.
Follow corporate Maintenance Work Management (MWM) standards, procedures, and work instructions.
Identify discipline‑specific isolations and obtain required permits (CSE, Red Hot, Impairment).
Coordinate multidisciplinary job information with other discipline planners.
Sequence work to maximize tool time and minimize equipment downtime.
Create and maintain accurate task lists, planning history files, and job libraries.
Lead post‑execution job plan reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Participate in cross‑functional and event management teams to align execution strategies.
Mentor developing team members and provide coverage for contract personnel.

Applicants must hold a degree, technical diploma or a Red Seal journeyperson certification and have ten or more years of industrial maintenance planning experience. Required experience includes work in petrochemical, gas or heavy‑oil processing plants, proficiency with SAP S/4, Bluebeam, SmartPlant and other 3‑D modeling tools, and a strong safety and continuous‑improvement mindset. A valid Class 5 driver’s licence, the ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test, and legal eligibility to work in Canada are also required.
