As the BDM, you’ll be the connector between Kingspan’s technology and the metal building industry. You’ll identify new growth opportunities, educate key partners, and ensure Kingspan’s products are specified early in the design process — shaping the future of industrial, commercial, and data center construction.

You’ll collaborate with national manufacturers, builders, and design professionals to help deliver smarter, faster, and more energy-efficient buildings.

  • Influence design specifications by presenting Kingspan envelope systems to architects, engineers, and owners.
  • Support strategic initiatives that strengthen Kingspan’s position in the PEMB market.
  • Partner with internal teams and OEM accounts to align quoting, project handoffs, and delivery.
  • Track projects, specifications, and KPIs using Salesforce CRM.
  • Represent Kingspan at industry associations (MBMA, MBCEA, etc.) and regional trade events.
  • Develop and grow relationships with manufacturers, builders, and dealers in assigned regions.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who thrives on building relationships, influencing specifications, and driving market growth through innovation, sustainability, and customer success.

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Understanding of building science, codes, and design processes.
  • Some college, or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or architecture (or equivalent experience).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% plus for customer visits, industry events, and project engagements.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Located within a 1-hour drive to a major metro airport (ideal hubs: Chicago, Indianapolis, Columbus, Atlanta, Houston, etc.).
  • Proven ability to influence design teams and executive-level customers.
