You will oversee daily run allocation, performance monitoring, safety, and compliance, providing strong leadership and support to staff while delivering exceptional service to our council, commercial, and residential contracts.

This role also involves attending after-hours emergency callouts when required.

Maintain oversight of all daily operations, proactively resolving issues and supporting drivers
Oversee and coordinate daily job allocation, ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling of drivers, routes, and vehicles
Manage operational reporting, assist with incident follow-ups, and coordinate vehicle maintenance with both onsite and external workshops
Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure high performance, compliance, and service quality
Conduct end-of-day debriefs, monitor timelines and breaks, and ensure route completion
Supervise daily collection and recycling operations while maintaining strict safety, service, and environmental standards
Support driver inductions, training, and ongoing development
