Description

• Weigh trucks entering and exiting the landfill or transfer station.
• Set up new trucks and issue permits.
• Provide accurate billing information and generate reports for customers and management.
• Verify haul accuracy for third‑party payment.
• Dispatch special‑waste disposal instructions to operators and the Operations Manager.
• Inform landfill management of community updates related to the landfill.
• Test scales daily for accuracy.
• Ensure waste is placed in correct areas using grid reports.
• Perform various environmental compliance tasks.

Requirements

• Require a high school diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience; customer service experience preferred.
• Perform basic math calculations and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and lift up to 10 lb occasionally.
• Work outdoors, exposed to weather, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate to loud noise.
