- Support the global vehicle development process and maintain math fidelity for each cycle.
- Create math data models of advanced, complex components, systems, and subsystems.
- Actively identify new areas for learning and take advantage of learning opportunities.
- Stay informed of current product developments and trends in the area of responsibility.
- Independently integrate component subsystem design into systems.
- Support CAE with studies to improve designs.
- Support component and subsystem requirements by developing, refining, and finalizing criteria and typical sections.
- Document and maintain material, mass, and other part specifications within the NX file.
- Support lessons learned by updating best practices and participating in learning sessions with program teams.
- Role is using NX, but will train experienced Catia Users
- Release system/subsystem parts to meet timing requirements with quality.
- Develop standard modeling methods and processes.
- Perform studies/alternatives and participate in recommendations for program direction.
- Apply manufacturability, design for assembly, and integration knowledge to parts and subsystem designs.
- Complete, analyze, and apply NX analysis results for solutions of subsystems/components.
- Facilitate and participate in design reviews, both scheduled and informal workstation reviews, as needed.
- Support current product change management processes.
- Proactively communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

- 2+ years of design/engineering experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in design standards and best practices, applying them to design operations and processes.
- Understanding of design for manufacturability and design for assembly principles.
- 2+ Years of CATIA or NX
- Experience with standard modeling methods and processes.
- Solid modeling skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
