You will support project management and clients in developing capital project schedules throughout the preliminary, design, and execution phases. You will assist cost and planning experts in preparing proposals for various contract types, produce periodic reports on progress, earned value, and key performance indicators, and recommend corrective actions under management supervision. You will also develop, maintain, and update project budgets, record and analyze actual costs, and produce rigorous cost forecasts.
We are looking for a Senior Project Planner for our AtkinsRéalis Canada division, with experience in the engineering sector to lead mandates and projects related to electricity and renewable energy. The project offices are located in Montréal, but occasional site visits are required.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (OIQ registration preferred) and brings 15 years of experience planning all phases of the project life cycle. In‑depth knowledge of Primavera P6 and other planning tools (MS Project, Tilos, Ecosys, Aconex) is required, along with proficiency in the MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, fluency in English and French, and knowledge of AACEI recommended practices are essential.
